Sara Ali Khan starrer Coolie No 1 opened with good reviews and amazing digital response and now she is Agra for her first ever outing with Akshay Kumar and Dhanush in Aanand L Rai’s directorial Atrangi Re.
Sara Ali Khan shared a candid picture from the sets of the film, celebrating the festival with Dhanush and Aanand L Rai. She took to her Instagram and captioned the picture, “It’s a warm and fuzzy Christmas…@aanandlrai @dhanushkraja”
Sara also shared a boomerang video. In the video, she can be seen in a playful mood as she is seen putting a Christmas hat on Dhanush. The diva looked beautiful in a white top and blue denim with white sneakers. The Raanjhanaa star, on the other hand, looked dapper in an all-black outfit with a red and white scarf.
Meanwhile, talking about the film Atrangi Re has been directed by Aanand L. Rai and co-produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar among others. The film has been in the news ever since it started rolling. The film that is currently being shot in Agra also stars Akshay Kumar.
Atrangi Re is touted to be a cross-cultural love story and Sara will be seen essaying her first double role in it. The film also has Akshay playing a very unique role that has been kept under wraps from day 1. The story is penned by Himanshu Sharma. The music of the film is being composed by AR Rahman.
The initial release date was scheduled to be February 12, 2021.
