Television actor and model Kanika Mann who is best known for her role as ‘Guddan’ in Zee TV’s serial Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega has come up with a new song Kalma. The actor speaking about the journey of making the song Kalma said that though shooting the song was a little hectic, but she is happy that people are loving the song.
Kanika Mann was seen interacting with the media on Tuesday. Talking about the shoot of the song Kanika said, “We shot the song in one day. Though it was a very lengthy song we managed to shot at different locations. It was a little hectic job, but I am happy that the results are positive and people are loving the song”
“I am very excited about the song Kalma. The day I had listened to the song I was in love with it. I really hope that more and more people like it. Since the song has released I am receiving lots of messages and calls” added Kanika.
About the song, the song stars Kanika Mann and Shoaibe Dhebar in lead roles. The song is sung by Prateek Gandhi while the lyrics are written by Aniket Shukla. The song is being released under Nexus records and produced by Gazala Shaikh Khan.
Faisal Miya Photuwala has directed the music video. The cinematography is taken care of by Shweta Poojary and Matin while the editing is done by Oswin Reveredo.
The song is a love story and it begins with Shoaibe holding Kanika’s hand as she comes running. The music video has a 'sufiyana' touch to it and has meaningful lyrics. Kanika looks mesmerizing as she grooves to the tunes and flaunts her beautiful smile. The song has received positive reviews from its viewers.
