Would like to work with John Abraham in a film says Sasha Merchant

Actress-model Sasha Merchant, who is currently busy in brand endorsement shoots and modeling, has said that she wants to work with John Abraham in a film. She added saying that she has a huge crush on ‘Dhoom’ actor and admirer of his work.

Sasha Merchant was interacting with the media during the shooting of a television commercial on Thursday in Mumbai.

Sasha that she wants to share screen space with another model tuned actor John Abraham, she said, “I also feel that it’s not just Deepika (Padukone)who has been a successful model and now such a successful actress, I think there are so many be it Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kriti Sanon. Even male actors like John (Abraham), so I think a lot of great talent is found in the modeling industry. John started as a model and he turned out to be such a successful actor. Today, he has a lovely production house and I think he has succeeded at everything that he has done, so he is another one with whom I can relate because I am into modeling. I would love to work with him someday. He is definitely someone I have had the hugest crush since forever and Hrithik (Roshan) as well. He is one of my favorite actors.”    

              

Sasha Merchant is the daughter of model-actor Aseem Merchant who has appeared in film such as ‘The Train’, ‘Wanted’, ‘Singh Saab the Great’ and ‘Bhaag Johnny’.

Talking about her background, Sasha said, “I have just completed my studies in law. I have been modeling since last two years. I am really fond of travelling and because of the lockdown, I haven’t been able to travel much this year otherwise, I take a couple of holidays every year.”

Talking about her journey in modeling industry, Sasha said, “I was in college and it was a very random thing because an agency spotted me and they approached me for modeling and then, I started doing commercial shoots and shows. It happened very fast because I never planned to get into modeling. I was very focused on studying law but I love it now. I can’t believe that I didn’t even think of it in early phase of my life.”

Apart from ramp modeling, Sasha Merchant has appeared in several brand’s television commercial advertisements, when asked her whether she is keen to enter into Hindi film industry, she said, “I think bollywood is a lovely industry to be a part of. I am sure everyone has that dream and I would love to be a part of it if something amazing comes my way. Just like I didn’t plan modeling and it literally came out of the blue same way, I am open to acting as well if something really exciting comes up and I would definitely take it up.”
