Sometimes life gives you moments which change your world instantly. One such moment for Dia Mirza was when she was crowned the Miss Asia Pacific in December 2000. Her life changed that very moment. The actress celebrates 20 years of her pageant win with an emotional post.

Abba had penned this on a card that sat by my bedside table during the Miss Asia Pacific contest...I would read these words every night before i slept. These words have continued to motivate me till this day”

Through the video, she had shared with her fans her journey from being scouted by a modelling agent at the age of 16 and then winning the title at 18. She mentioned how post the win, she was still the same but everything around her changed.
Since then she has been working religiously for the betterment of the society as UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador & United Nations Secretary General Advocate for Sustainable Development Goals.
On the work front, she was last seen in Anibhav Sinha's 'Thappad' and she will next be seen in 'Wild Dog' a Telugu action thriller film.
