Vogue WOTY 2020 Names Dia Mirza As Environmentalist Of The Year

Dia Mirza known for passion for Global issues; has been named as Environmentalist Of the Year by Vogue Women Of The Year 2020. The actress takes to her social media profile and share a video post, expressing her gratitude and talks making brave choices.

Dia Mirza dons many hat’s, she is an established model, actor and producer on the work front. She also serves as UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador and United Nations Secretary-General Advocate for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS).

The actress dropped a video post on her social media. She captioned it, “Thank you @vogueindia for naming me Environmentalist of the Year. As we continue to be confronted by the #ClimateCrises, each one of us can and must ensure we make #SustainableLiving and nature a part of our life. Each of us can act #ForNature and help the world #BuildBackBetter #ForPeopleForPlanet”

She is the UN secretary-general’s advocate for sustainable development goals, UNEP’s goodwill ambassador, the ambassador for Wildlife Trust of India, the artist ambassador for Save The Children, and a board member of Sanctuary Nature Foundation. For now, though, she’s taking to Instagram (much like her idol David Attenborough), to inform, guide and encourage people to lead cleaner, greener lives.
