After a series of promo, trailer and first song, Bhumi Pedenkar unveils a series of posters from the forthcoming horror drama Durgamati, introducing all the victims and masterminds.
Durgamati is directed by G. Ashok, which is a remake of his own 2018 Telugu film Bhaagamathie and starring Bhumi Pednekar as an IAS officer. The film also stars Arshad Warsi, Jisshu Sengupta, Mahie Gill and Karan Kapadia.

The film revolves around Ishwar Prasad (Arshad) who is a powerful and corrupt politician with the full support of the people. When Idols from 12 temples are stolen, CBI officer Nidhi Verma suspects Ishwar Prasad of the theft, and so, in order to expose him, recruits suspended IAS officer Chanchal Chauhan for the job.
Chanchal goes to live in the ancient Durgamati mansion, and soon enough, the ghost of Durgamati takes over chanchal's body and promises to swear revenge on everyone who have wronged her.
The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Akshay Kumar and Vikram Malhotra under T-Series, Cape of Good Films and Abundantia Entertainment. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film will be available to stream worldwide from 11 December 2020 on Amazon Prime Video.
