Mumbai, Nov 10 (SocialNews.XYZ) School communication platform Uolo Technologies on Tuesday announced that is has raised Rs 20 crore fund in a round led by major investor Omidyar Network India and Blume Ventures.
The company plans to invest the funds to expand its team across technology and operations and improve its offerings for school administration and students.
Uolo partners with private schools to bring the teacher-student-parent community online through its mobile app and helps students continue learning in an online, social and after-school setting.
"In the next two years, we plan to bring 20,000 schools comprising 10 Million students to build an active online community," said Pallav Pandey, Co-Founder & CEO Uolo, said in a statement.
With these funds, the Uolo team of passionate educators and tech leaders will further build and enhance the platform, to help schools deliver even better learning outcomes to kids.

The Uolo platform helps schools to connect, collaborate and communicate with parents and to help students learn better.
The company works with more than 2,000 schools and one million students in more than 200 cities across India.
