Gandhinagar, Nov 10 (SocialNews.XYZ) The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party is confident of winning all eight Assembly seats in the Gujarat bypolls, counting for which is underway on Tuesday as its candidates are leading on six seats, except Morbi and Dhari.
At Morbi and Dhari, the Congress seems to be having an edge over the ruling party.
In four of these seats, the BJP is confident of a clear victory after 10 rounds by having an edge over the Congress rivals by more than 10,000 votes.
At the Limdi seat, Kiritsinh Rana, the former cabinet minister of the BJP government, seems to be marching towards a big win having a lead of more than 15,000 votes (15,600) after 12 rounds over his Congress rival Chetan Khachar.
However, the party has decided to hold off the celebration, even if it comes victorious as BJP district youth president Mrugesh Rathore died in an accident in Badrinath.
After 11 rounds, BJP candidate from Dangs, Vijaybhai Patel is also having a lead of over 15,000 votes over his Congress rival Suryakant Gavit.
After 12 rounds of counting in Karjan, BJP candidate Akshay Patel has a lead of over 10,000 votes over Congress' Kiritsinh Jadeja.
