Actor Vicky Kaushal wished his mother Veena Kaushal on her birthday by posting a very simple and sweet message on social media on Tuesday.
Sharing the picture of himself along with his mother on Instagram, Vicky wrote, ''Happy Birthday Maa!” The photo was clicked during their celebration at home.

Vicky hails from humble middle class family as he was born in a chawl in suburban Mumbai to Veena Kaushal and Sham Kaushal, a stuntman and subsequent action director in Hindi films. His younger brother Sunny Kaushal, is also an actor.
On personal front, there are media reports that Vicky is currently dating Katrina Kaif as both of them have been spotted with each other on several occasions but none of them have confirmed their relationship.
On film front, Vicky Kaushal will collaborate with his friend and ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ filmmaker Aditya Dhar for the second time for a magnum opus – ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’.
Reportedly, the three-part superhero film has its roots in the Mahabharata. Vicky’s character is based on the mythological character Ashwatthama, the son of Dronacharya who was given the boon of immortality in the Mahabharat.
Vicky reportedly will gain his weight and he will undergo training in horse-riding and various martial art forms, including krav maga and jujutsu for his portrayal of Ashwatthama.
'The Immortal Ashwathama' was scheduled to be shot in a start-to-finish schedule, spread across 80 to 90 days, in locations such as Greenland, Iceland, Tokyo, New Zealand and Namibia.
Apart from that, Vicky will also feature in Karan Johar’s period drama ‘Takht’, Shoojit Sircar’s biographical film ‘Sardar Udham Singh’ and Meghna Gulzar’s biographical film ‘Sam Manekshaw’.
