New York, Nov 4 (SocialNews.XYZ) America's first ever Indian and Black American vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris will join Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in Wilmington, Delaware for the US 2020 election night watch party as results trickle in.
Harris is headed there after campaigning in battleground Michigan, which Trump won by less than 1 point in 2016.
"Today is election day. Today is the day, let's get this done," Harris told supporters in the final hours before polls close.
US President Donald Trump doesn't think Michigan is tough to crack. He told supporters he would win it "so easily" as he rallied supporters in bitterly cold 40s weather in Grand Rapids.
The Biden-Harris ticket is more than 4 points ahead in Michigan, based on a RealClearPolitics average of the latest polls.
Biden's campaign believes there are multiple paths to victory and the easiest route is through Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
Early on Election Day, Biden visited the graves of his son Beau and other family members. He then went to Philadelphia and his childhood home in Scranton, before returning to Delaware.
While in his old Scranton home on Tuesday morning, Biden signed off with a black marker on a beige coloured wall: "From this house to the White House, with the Grace of God."
