Despite Covid-19, Gujarat sees 40.09 percent voter turnout by 2 p.m.

Gandhinagar, Nov 3 (SocialNews.XYZ) Unfazed by the Covid-19 pandemic, people in Gujarat came out to vote normally in the by-elections for 8 Assembly seats. There was 40.09 percent voter turnout till 2 p.m., which is the average voting figure.

The highest polling was seen in the tribal region of Dangs at 56.78%. Polling in Karjan constituency saw a voter turnout of 40.64%.

There was 38.41% polling in Abdasa constituency and 37.15% polling in the Kaprada region. Limdi registered 34.9 percent polling and in the Gadhada constituency there was 28.64% polling by 1 p.m.

Amreli region registered the least number of polling percentage at 23.78%. Morbi registered 31.90 percent.
