The ruling YSR Congress Party boycotted the meeting convened by the State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar on Wednesday, to elicit the opinion of recognised political parties on the proposed elections to local bodies in the State.
Defending the decision, the Minister for Agriculture K. Kannababu said that it was not SEC but Nimmagadda Commissioner. Ramesh Kumar was running the SEC in an arbitrary manner as per his whims and fancy.
