Television actress Divya Agarwal's father Sanjay Agarwal died of COVID-19 on Wednesday. He had tested positive for the virus earlier this month and was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai.
Announcing the news on social media, Divya Agarwal shared a picture of herself and her father and wrote: "You are always with me... I love you, Papa... RIP."
Divya Agarwal had initially shared in social media about the infection when her brother Prince was tested positive for Covid and later her parents getting infected. Her father had a heart ailment and was immediately shifted to a hospital and later moved to the ICU due to his worsening condition.
The actress has been sharing health updates of her father urging fans to pray for him throughout the hospitalization. On Tuesday evening, the actor requested fans to pray for her father as his condition had deteriorated.
