Actress Kangana Ranaut has responded to the request of television actor Malvi Malhotra, who sought help from the ‘Shakalaka Boom Boom’ actor after she was stabbed for turning down the marriage proposal.
Kangana took to social media on Tuesday and promised Malvi that she will stand by her in her fight. She requested National Commission for Women chief Rekha Sharma to look into the case and once again, she slammed film industry kids saying that they don’t have to go through stabbing, rape and killing to sustain in the city.
In her first tweet, Kangana wrote, “Dear Malvi I am with you, I read you are critical, I pray for you dear girl, requesting @sharmarekha ji to take immediate actions against the culprit, we are with you and we will get you justice. Please have faith”.
Sharing a news report related to Malvi Malhotra’s stabbing on her Twitter timeline, Kangana tweeted for the second time and this time she targeted film industry kids for having privileged life as compared to small town struggler actors, it reads, “This is the truth of film industry, this is what happens to small town strugglers who don’t have connections and proper channels, nepotism kids might defend themselves as much they want but how many of them have been stabbed, raped and killed ?”.
Malvi Malhotra has acted in few television shows and films. She is currently admitted to a hospital in Mumbai and from there, she reached out to Kangana Ranaut and National Commission for Women after allegedly being stabbed by a man for turning down his marriage proposal.
The accused, Yogesh Mahipal Singh, had met Malvi a couple of times before the incident took place on the pretext of being a producer. After which, he pressurised the actress to marry her. However, after she rejected his proposal, Yogesh attacked her thrice with a knife.
On professional front, Kangana Ranaut has started preparation for her upcoming film ‘Tejas’ in which she plays role of Indian Air Force officer. The film is being directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala.
She is also playing titular role of veteran actress and Tamil Nadu’s chief minister J. Jayalalithaa in A. L. Vijay's upcoming film ‘Thalaivi’.
