After getting the pending NOC from the Indian Air Force, superstar Suriya starrer Soorarai Pottru is finally out with its official trailer.
Directed by Sudha Kongara, an Amazon Original Movie stars Suriya, Aparna Balamurali, Dr.M Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal, Urvashi, Karunas, Vivek Prasanna, Krishna Kumar, Kaali Venkat.
Actor Paresh Rawal dropped the trailer on social media. He tweeted, “Story of a common man who soared with his dreams! We're ready for the take-off... The film was reported to be the biopic of Air Deccan founder G. R. Gopinath, however it was revealed that some events were inspired from his life.
Filming took place across Madurai, Chennai, and Chandigarh. The film features music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, while cinematography and editing were handled by Niketh Bommireddy and Sathish Suriya respectively.
The theatrical release of the film was postponed several times due to post-production delays and the COVID-19 pandemic. The film was scheduled to release through Prime Video in Tamil and Telugu on 30 October, but due to delay in clearance from Air force, it was been postponed to 12 November.
