Sarah Paulson starring Run is out with the second trailer of the film along with confirmation that suspense thriller will release on HULU, skipping theatrical release.
Hulu App has acquired domestic rights from Lionsgate. The film is helmed by Aneesh Chaganty, who directed and wrote the picture. The movie follows a homeschooled teenager who begins to suspect her mother is keeping a dark secret from her.
Golden Globe winner Sarah Paulson portrays an overbearing single mom Diane Sherman - who isolates, home schools, and cares for her 17-year-old daughter Chloe played by newcomer Kiera Allen.
Chloe is a paralyzed, wheelchair-bound straight-A student who's told by Diane that she suffers from serious medical conditions including asthma, diabetes, arrhythmia, and hemochromatosis.
However, Chloe is horrified to discover that the label on one of her many prescription bottles peels away to reveal the drugs were actually dispensed under Diane's name. The brave teenager then embarks on a journey to uncover why her overprotective mother has been gaslighting her and keeping a 'dark, sinister secret from her.'
Run is scheduled to be released on November 20, 2020, by Hulu.
