Actress Mithila Palkar collaborated with Team Nach Youtuber Nicole Concessao for a dance cover on Friday. Both of them matched their steps with each other on ‘Ban Than Chali’ song from Kurukshetra (2000) which starred Sanjay Dutt and Mahima Chaudhry in lead roles.
Sharing the dance cover on her Instagram handle, Mithila wrote, “It's hereeee • Ban Than Chali with @nicoleconcessao !!! This girl is a rockstar for being as amazing as she is! Planned everything and made it happen just in two days! Studio, costumes, choreography and poha! We must do this many, many times Nicole!”.
In the video, Mithila and Nicole can be seen wearing matching traditional outfits and grooving to the popular dance number of 2000.
Team Nach is a YouTube channel founded and managed by Nicole Concessao and Sonal Devraj. Both of them give dance tutorials to aspiring dancers and they often collaborate with bollywood celebrities to perform on popular dance numbers.
Mithila Palkar rose to prominence in March 2016 with her Marathi version of the ‘cup song’ went viral on social media. She is one of the prominent faces in digital platforms as she has featured in popular web series such as ‘Girl in the City’, ‘Little Things’, ‘Official Chukyagiri’ and ‘Masaba Masaba’.
She has also featured in films such as ‘Katti Batti’, ‘Karwaan’ and ‘Chopsticks’.
Mithila Palkar next will be seen onscreen in a Netflix film ‘Tribhanga - Tedhi Medhi Crazy’. It is set in Mumbai and revolves around the lives of three women from the same family, belonging to different generations.
The film also stars Kajol and Tanvi Azmi in lead roles. It is directed by Renuka Shahane and produced by Ajay Devgn FFilms, Banijay Group Asia and Alchemy Films Pvt Ltd.
