Ananya Panday shares pictures of her first look test as Pooja from ‘Khaali Peeli’

Actress Ananya Pandey shared glamorous pictures of first look test of character Pooja from her upcoming film ‘Khaali Peeli’ on Wednesday. Ananya Panday co-stars with Ishaan Khatter in the film. The actress plays the role of a dancer who is hiding from her clients after she ran away with stolen money and jewellery.

Sharing two pictures from her first look test on her Instagram handle, Ananya wrote, “Pooja... throwback to the first look test and now the film is releasing in two days #2DaysToGo."

In the first picture, the actress can be seen sporting a white top and denim shorts while in the other picture, she can be seen wearing a traditional outfit, which she paired with bangles and earrings.

‘Khaali Peeli’ is directed by debutant director Maqbool Khan and co-produced by Bharat director Ali Abbas Zafar. In the film, Ishaan Khatter plays the role of a taxi driver named Blackie. It also features Jaideep Ahlawat and Satish Kaushik in important roles.

Later on, Ananya shared a small video which introduces of villain of the film, played by Jaideep Ahlawat. Sharing the video, Ananya wrote, “Abhi bhaagne ka time gaya. 2nd October ko mukka-laat hogi, apne villain se #KhaaliPeeli iss Friday se @zeeplexofficial & @zee5 par sirf ₹299 mein!  @ishaankhatter @jaideepahlawat @macriaan @ihimanshumehra @aliabbaszafar @yash.keswani.mumbai #SimaAgarwal @adilafsarz @zeestudiosofficial @offsideent @zeemusiccompany”.

In the video, Jaideep Ahlawat is seen as a dreaded gangster who is chasing Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday. In the second half of the video, Jaideep fights with Ishaan and in the end shoots him.

 'Khaali Peeli' went on the floors in September last year and was scheduled for a June 12 release but was delayed due to the shuttering of film theatres. The movie will start streaming on OTT platform Zeeplex from October 2.
