A Live E - Concert performed as a tribute to the Immortal legend Dr.SP Balasubrahmanyam affectionately called as 'SPB' by his Music Lovers. On a personal note, SPB sir has been the motivation and way of light for me in all senses! I was fortunate to have shared half a dozen stages with him and he was someone who inspired us to be a great human being more than a Musician. We felt at this time of grief, when his physical body has left us, there is no better way to pay tribute to this legend than singing his songs. SP Balasubrahmanyam was an artiste who has sung 40,000 plus songs in his career spanning 55 glorious years where he excelled as a Singer, Music Composer, Actor, Dubbing Artiste and a Stage performer. I have made a humble attempt to render few of his eternal classics from the languages Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu in this E- concert which went on for almost four hours. In these tough times, the concert involved lot of technical and creative inputs and I extend my heart felt love to my dearest brother Ramu Raj who was the backbone of the show. Words won't be enough to thank him! Equally thanking the Fantastic Musicians, Vineesh on Keys, the supremely talented Nikhil Ram on Bamboo Flute and Saxophones and my dearest Anu Karthik on rhythm and Sandeep on Indian percussions, who made the tribute so soulful! Love to my dearest technical team Amosh , Vishnuraj M R and Joel Joju whose timely assistance was priceless! The beautiful digital art of SP Balasubrahmanyam Sir was done by the talented artiste Rajil Raj. Love and gratitude to Adv.Harris and members of Calicut Music Circle who host my concert annually and this marks the 11th edition of same as well . Equally thanking most respected Dr. Rewant Vikrama Singh, who hosted this show in under the name "Sraddhanjali" in association with Vivekananda Cultural Centre, ICCR and Indian High Commission Srilanka.
