Producer Ashwini Dutt Approaches High Court Against The AP Government Demanding 210 Crores

Leading filmmaker Ashwini Dutt has filed a petition in the AP High Court. The petition states that 39 acres were given to the government under land pooling. The land is valued at Rs 1crore 54 lakhs per acre.

He recalled that the CRDA had agreed to allot land in the capital Amravati with the same value as this land. Now the government has decided to move the capital elsewhere. With this, an acre of land there is not worth even Rs 30 lakhs.

Ashwini Dutt has filed a petition with the government and the Airport Authority as parties seeking payment of Rs 210 crore for the 39 acres he has given. At present, the registration value of the 39 acres given by him has reached Rs 1 crore 84 lakhs per acre.

In the petition, Ashwini Dutt said that the Airport Authority of India or the AP government could take over the land by paying 4 times the amount of land under land acquisition.

Advocate Jandhyala Ravishankar filed the petition in the High Court on behalf of Ashwini Dutt.
