Telugu film star Nagarjuna Akkineni hosted released reality show ‘Bigg Boss Telugu 4’, has created a new record in television ratings with its premiere episode. As per the report of the previous week by BARC, the ratings of the premiere episode of the Telugu reality show's fourth season on September 6, 2020, was 18.5, which is the highest among all seasons.
Nagarjuna took to his Twitter page on Thursday and thanked viewers for the record-breaking TRP. Along with the picture which shows TRP statistics of the show, he tweeted, “Thank you for all the love!!!”.
‘Bigg Boss Telugu 4’s premiere was different from previous seasons. In this season, the contestants were introduced through a special 'connections game'.
Nagarjuna returns as host of the show for the second time this season. The contestants for this season are Monal Gajjar, Surya Kiran, Lasya Reddy, Abhijeet Duddala, Sujatha, Mehboob Shaikh, Devi Nagavalli, Alekhya Harika, Devi Nagavalli, Amma Rajasekhar, Karate Kalyani, Noel Sean, Divi Vadthya, Akhil Sarthak and Gangavva.
On film front, Nagarjuna is going to make comeback in Hindi films after many years with Ayan Mukerji's upcoming directorial titled ‘Brahmastra’. In the film, he will be seen playing the role of an archaeologist. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles and is produced by Karan Johar under his home banner Dharma Productions.
Nagarjuna will also feature in Telugu action thriller film ‘Wild Dog’ directed by debutant Ashishor Solomon. The film also stars Dia Mirza, Saiyami Kher and Atul Kulkarni in pivotal roles. The first look was unveiled on
