Srinagar, Aug 28 (SocialNews.XYZ) Four terrorists were killed in an encounter with the security forces in South Kashmir's Shopian district on Friday. One militant surrendered and heavy cache of arms and ammunition were recovered from the spot, police said.
The encounter started after a joint team of the police and the army cordoned off the Kiloora area following specific information about terrorist presence. As the security forces zeroed in on the hideout, the militants started heavy firing triggering the encounter.
"Four terrorists eliminated and one terrorist surrendered. Two AKs and three pistols recovered. Joint operation in progress," the army said.
