Jammu, Aug 27 (SocialNews.XYZ) Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday reported 655 new coronavirus cases, including 158 in Jammu division and 497 from Kashmir division, taking its total tally to 35,135.
In all, 14 more Covid-19 deaths were reported -- three in Jammu division and 11 in Kashmir division.
As many as 528 more recovered corona patients were discharged from various hospitals, including 89 in Jammu division and 439 in Kashmir division.
According to the daily media bulletin, 7,743 cases are still 'active', 26,721 have recovered and 671 others died. The death toll was 57 in Jammu division and 614 in Kashmir division.
Out of 9,15,226 test results available, 8,80,091 samples have been tested as negative till August 27, 2020.
Till date 4,48,697 travelers and persons in contact with suspected cases have been enlisted for observation which included 44,537 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by the government, 7,743 in isolation, and 43,728 in home surveillance while 3,52,018 persons have completed their surveillance period.
