Many Telugu films will be going the OTT way in the days to come, given the fact that theaters might not be re-opened anytime soon.
However, Mythri Movie Makers have taken a brave decision of sorts as they have rejected a big bid for Vaishnav Tej's 'Uppena'.
Apparently, a leading OTT platform offered around Rs 12-13 crores for Uppena's direct to digital rights, but Mythri Movie Makers turned down their offer.
Uppena is Vaishnav Tej's debut film and he is reluctant to let it go the OTT way. He is keen on a theatrical release and understandably so.
As of now, even Mythri Movie Makers are ready to wait till Christmas and see if they can release the film during the holiday season.
