Ram says no to digital release of Red

Given the Covid-19 situation and the consequent lockdown, the producers of many medium budget Telugu films are willing to go the OTT way. Nani's 'V' and Sai Dharam Tej's Solo Brathuke So Better will be releasing directly on digital platforms soon.

However, Ram Pothineni who scored the biggest hit of his career with Ismart Shankar is said to be against a direct OTT release for his upcoming film, Red.

Ram wants Red to release in theaters as he is confident that it would appeal to all sections of audience. He apparently made his intentions clear to his uncle Sravanthi Ravikishore who bankrolled Red. The final decision in this regard will be taken soon.
