As you are well aware, late Shri PV Narsimha Rao garu is among the most loved Telugu personalities in history.
He was not only a polyglot but a scholar, author, lover of art and culture, and the Prime Minister who was the architect of the country’s new economic policy.
Sir, almost everything in whatever we see and in whatever we feel today is related to the economic policies unveiled by him.
Entire South India, particularly the Telugu states, has a strong connection with him as he was the first Prime Minister from the south. The Telugu community across the world continue to hold him in love and pride.
He was the fourth chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and as Prime Minister chose to contest from Nandyal Lok Sabha constituency.
When Narasimha Rao garu passed away in December 2004 our beloved leader Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy garu named and developed the cremation area at Necklace Road in Hyderabad as PV Ghat.
The Telangana government recently earmarked Rs 10 crore and formed a centenary committee to begin the year-long centenary celebrations.
Sir, I humbly request you to take up this matter in your next Cabinet meeting to honor and celebrate the life of PV Narasimha Rao guru.
The Cabinet may also resolve to request the Government of India to posthumously award Bharat Ratna to the legendary leader.
The Cabinet may please decide on the formation of a Cabinet sub-committee or a centenary committee and allot suitable financial allocation for this purpose.
Sir, I am positive that by celebrating his centenary year would help our party and our government earns further love and respect among the Telugu people.
With warm regards,
Yours sincerely,
K RAGHU RAMAKRISHNA RAJU
