And finally the social media war between Kangana Ranaut and Movie Mafia has reached to a fruitful conclusion; Mumbai Police has summoned filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. The Sadak 2 director was spotted at the Santacruz police station to record his statement in the case.
Mahesh arrived in his car and was sporting a face shield, gloves and mask for safety amid coronavirus spread.
It is reported that Mumbai Police has interrogated Mahesh primarily over his close associate Suhrita Das' Facebook post on June 14, the day Sushant died by suicide in Mumbai. Suhrita had shared a message for Sushant's actress girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty saying she has seen her "struggle when the actor was suffering from depression".
Kangana Ranaut opened up a front against Mahesh Bhatt and his camp, including Mukesh Bhatt and others. She kept dragging filmmakers name to be questioned and probed.
In fact, Dharma Productions CEO Apoorva Mehta has also been summoned by the Mumbai Police and Karan Johar will be called for sharing information if need be.
Mumbai Police has summoned close to 40 people in Sushant's death case. Some of the prominent names include Aditya Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sanjana Sanghi, Mukesh Chhabra, Rhea Chakraborty and four psychiatrists whom Sushant was consulting among others.
