Nottingham Forest supporter Broad's fun moment with drug tester

Manchester, July 23 (SocialNews.XYZ) Veteran England pacer Stuart Broad took to social media on Thursday to share a light moment during his random drug test on the eve of England's series-deciding third #raisethebat Test against West Indies.

An ardent Nottingham Forest supporter, Broad saw his team missing out on the play-offs after they lost to Stoke City on an evening of high drama in the English Championship, the second tier of English football.

"Just been selected for a 'random' drugs test here at Old Trafford. Tester is a Stoke City fan....You can't be serious," Broad said on his Twitter handle.

In an emotional post on Twitter earlier, Nottingham-born Broad shared how he felt about Forest missing out on a playoff spot which could have paved their way for a return to the English Premier League.

"Nottingham Forest. I'm mad to throw the play offs away like that but in all honesty just shows we're not ready for a step up. The team is building, learning- proof in how panicked we looked tonight & all the late goals all season. Same manager, same core group next season & we stand a chance of growing a special team.

"Players learn from feelings & experiences where they lose control & mess things up. We're not ready yet but our time will come. Win, lose or draw- I'll support #NFFC," Broad wrote.

Meanwhile, all eyes will be once again on star all-rounders Ben Stokes and Jason Holder when England and West Indies lock horns in the third and final Test.

The series remains evenly poised at 1-1 after West Indies won the Southampton Test by four wickets and England came back with a 113-run win in Manchester.

Broad did not play in the first Test and had voiced his disappointment at missing out, only to return in the second game and take six wickets.
