Superstar Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru which showcased Mahesh Babu in a massy avatar has garnered 17.4 TRP in its second telecast. The movie is unstoppable on a small screen. It has already made a blockbuster debut on 25 March 2020 for the first time on eve of Ugadi and in its first Television premier movie recorded a TRP of 23.4.
Sarileru Neekevvaru (transl. 'Nobody can match you') is a 2020 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film written and directed by Anil Ravipudi. The film stars Mahesh Babu and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, alongside an ensemble cast of Vijayashanti, Prakash Raj, Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh, Posani Krishna Murali, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Vennela Kishore, Satyadev Kancharana, Ajay, Subbaraju, Murali Sharma, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Raghu Babu, Rajiv Kanakala, Bandla Ganesh and Sangeetha.
It was produced by Anil Sunkara, Dil Raju, and Mahesh Babu under the banners AK Entertainments, Sri Venkateswara Creations, and G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt. Ltd respectively. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music while R. Rathnavelu handled the cinematography. Production began on 31 May 2019 at Hyderabad. Shooting began on 5 July 2019 at Kashmir and lasted till mid-November 2019.
The film released on 11 January 2020 in 2050 screens worldwide coinciding with Sankranti. Upon release, Sarileru Neekevvaru received positive reviews and was commercially successful. The film collected a distributor share of ₹1.52 billion in its lifetime and grossed more than ₹2.6 billion in its lifetime.
