On July 8th we would once again celebrate the life of our beloved leader Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy Garu, as that would be his 71st birth anniversary.
On this auspicious occasion, I humbly draw your kind attention towards one of your visionary schemes, `YSR Pension Kanuka' where you have promised to increase Rs.250 every year to old age pensioners, widows and others.
Soon after taking the oath on 3015 May 2019, you magnanimously signed the file allowing for an increase of pensions from Rs 2,000 to Rs 2,250 and reduction of age limit from 65 years to 60 years. Thereon you also promised to increase the amounts by Rs 250 every year.
Our government issued G.0 Ms. No. 103 on 30th May 2019 so that the increase in pensions and reduction of age limit start implementation from 1st July 2019.
I wish to recall the euphoria among 'Avva-Thathalu' and all-round praise for your leadership.
Though the implementation of the reduction of age was due on 1st July 2019, it began implementation from February 2020. Those made eligible by your kind self lost Rs.15,750/- each in those seven months. I request you to direct the concerned authorities to pay Rs 15,750 to those who were made eligible by your order to reduce the age limit for availing pensions.
On the auspicious occasion of our beloved leader's 71st birth anniversary, I earnestly request you to announce the enhancement of YSR Pension Kanuka amount from Rs.2,250 to Rs.2,500 and fulfill the expectations of our 'Avva-Thathalu' from 1st August 2020.
I am certain that your pro-poor image would shine for generations to come.
