Bollywood lost another gem today as Saroj Khan breathed her last on Friday morning. She died due to cardiac arrest. Her death has left the whole of Bollywood mourning.
Bollywood Celebrities have their best dance numbers choreographed by the legendary choreographer Saroj Khan and her passing away has left many heartbroken, as they took to their social media profiles and mourned the demise of a legend.
'Taal' film director took to his social media account and wrote, "AN ERA HAS GONE absolutely my personal loss an integral part of our Mukta Arts family my strong partner in grooming stars like Madhuri Meenaxi Manisha n aishwarya Master of masters Saroj Khan will live in history of choreography of Indian cinema indeed. Filmmaker Sudhir Mishra took to his social media and wrote, “Saroj Khan was d last connection 2that era of Indian Cinema where when emotions rose to a pitch,d characters burst into song and heroine escaped from the clutches of bad writing and came into her sensuous own . Where would d Indian Film heroine have been without talents like her!”
Director Madhur Bhandarkar shared, “Woke up to the news that Saroj Khan is no more with us, Most talented trend setter choreographer of Film industry, My condolences to her family members & admirers. We will miss you. #RIP “
Shekhar Kapur expressed, “She defined a generation of heroines. Certainly #MrIndia would not have been same film without #SarojKhan. You had to see her dance as she rehearsed with SriDevi. She was messmerizing. And what energy! You could shoot all night, yet she smiled and danced constantly fresh”
