Actor Rohit Roy Bose who is playing an important role in ensemble cast of Mumbai Saga, keeps updating his social media profile about the progress of the film. The actor just shared a little sneak-peek about his character and movie progress.
Sanjay Gupta helmed Mumbai Saga marks the comeback of gangster dramas on big screens with an ensemble cast. This one is a story stitched out of incidents that turned Bombay into Mumbai between the 1980s and 1990s. The film, featuring a host of characters, is led by John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi, who play a gangster and a cop, respectively.
Rohit Roy plays the role of Baba in the film, and shared his transformation for screen on social media. He shared two pictures with caption, “SWIPELEFT!!! Gaya tha main, waapis aaya Baba!! #mumbaisaga #comingsoon”
Mumbai Saga is produced by T-Series, also stars Jackie Shroff, Kajal Aggarwal, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Pankaj Tripathi, Amole Gupte, Samir Soni, Gulshan Grover and Sharman Joshi.
Set in the 1980s and 1990s, the story shows changing faces of Mumbai people by closing mills to make malls and high rise buildings. The film was originally scheduled for release in June 2020. Production of the film was halted due to COVID-19, the shooting started recently.
