Coronavirus – Zimbabwe: COVID-19 update, 21st June 2020

Highlights of the situation report

  • Three (3) cases tested positive for COVID-19. These include returnees from South Africa (2), and one local case who are isolated.
  • The local case is a contact of a known confirmed case.
  • 9 RDT screening tests and 406 PCR diagnostic tests were done. The cumulative number of tests done to date is 62812 (35955 RDT and 26857 PCR).
  • To date the total number of confirmed cases is 489; recovered 64, active cases 419 and 6 deaths, since the onset of the outbreak on 20 March 2020.
