Star Tamil hero, Dhanush rejects OTT release

Dhanush is one of the widely followed south Indian actors. His films do pretty well in Tamil Nadu and even have a considerably good run in the Telugu states if they come with the right content.

Coming to the topic, Dhanush has reportedly rejected a direct OTT release for his upcoming film Jagame Thantram.

Dhanush and the director of the film Karthik Subbaraj want to give the film a theatrical release, given its content. The duo have decided to release Jagame Thantram in theatres and have warded off interest from Amazon Prime and Netflix.

It needs to be noted that none of the recent direct OTT releases have matched the expectations of the audience.
