Sushmita's comeback after a hiatus of 10 years is being anticipated a lot. The actress will soon be seen in the web show 'Aarya' which will stream on Disney + Hotstar from 19 June. Actress introduces entire main cast with their character names and praises.
Along with Sushmita Sen, the series also stars Namit Das, Manish Chaudhari, Sikander Kher, Vishwajeet Pradhan among many others.
Actress Sushmita Sen dropped a series of tweets, introducing the main players in the series. Starting with Namit Das, who plays the role of Jawahar, the caption read, “This one is an institution by himself...he sings like a dream, dances with abandonment, writes powerfully & travels for inspiration!!! He’s ALSO an Actor!! #phewwww #Jawahar @dasnamit in #Aarya...He doesn’t Act...he becomes!!! Learned so much from Namit!!”
The second character is Shekhwat played by senior actor Manish Chaudhari, the caption read, “Discipline, focus & controlled intensity!! WHAT AN ACTOR @ManishC_Actor Introducing #shekhawat in #Aarya A suave & ruthless character in Aarya, yet in real life an absolute Gentleman!!! I will forever cherish the grace he showed me in the most difficult of Scenes!!”
Introducing Sikhander Kher’s character, she wrote, “An absolute natural both on & off camera!!Intensity that speaks even when engulfed in silence!!U rockstar @sikandarkher Introducing #Daulat in #Aarya A man of few words but when he speaks, you gotta listen!! super fun to work with!!Love you Sikander...ALL THE BEST”
And finally introducing senior actor Vishwajeet Pradhan, she wrote, “Vishwajeet Pradhan “Naam kafi hai” Introducing #sampat in #Aarya A strong presence with an ability to turn any character into a living being!!Clapping hands sign I love his accents..A gifted actor that can seamlessly add humour to even d most volatile character!!Hugging face #respect @vishfulfilled”
'Aarya' has been directed by 'Neerja' fame director Ram Madhvani and is a story set against a Rajasthan backdrop. It is reportedly a remake of Dutch series 'Penoza'. Sushmita will be seen playing the lead role in the show.
Show will start streaming on Disney+Hotstar from 19 June. It has created huge stir amongst the audience and fans cannot wait to binge watch the show!
