Siddipet: Police arrests Congress Secretary Sampath Kumar along with other party activists protesting at Gouravelli project site in Husnabad of Siddipet district of Telangana on June 13, 2020. Police on Saturday arrested Congress leaders across the State as they were headed to various projects on the Godavari to highlight the ‘corruption’ and ‘injustice’ being done by the government in keeping the execution of the works pending. While a few of them were picked up late in the night while on their way to the project sites, others were not allowed to come out of their houses as police placed vehicles and large numbers of personnel at their residences.
