Bhubaneswar, June 8 (SocialNews.XYZ) All religious places and shopping malls in Odisha will remain shut till June 30 in view of rising Covid-19 cases. "All religious places/places of worship and shopping malls will remain closed till June 30," according to a notification issued by the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC), here on Monday.
All cinema halls, gymnasiums, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, bars, auditoriums, assembly halls and similar places would also remain sclosed till June 30, it added.
Meanwhile, Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy asked the departments to organise the ward-level covid committee meetings this week in both the rural and urban areas to spread awareness.
An aware and alert community could achieve wonders in the fight against this unseen enemy, he added.
Most states are set to reopen religious places after a gap of over two months.
