Rajkummar Rao shares a hard wrenching video 'Together We Can'

Corona Virus has got the whole world to a standstill. Migrants are walking miles to reach their homes, poor people do not have food to eat and many are homeless. Amidst this challenging times, actor Rajkummar Rao shares a video 'Together We Can' urging people to step out from their comfort zone to help the needy.

The words of the video are as follows:  'Apki mehngi gaadi chalane wala aksar paidal ghar jaata hain, croro ki rakhwali karne wala waqt par pagaar nahi paata hain, kayi baar bhooka rehta hai ek waqt, jo aapke liye aadhe ghante mei pizza pahuchaata hain, phate kapde se jaane kaise tann dhakta hain , hamare samaj mein jo bunn kar ke lata hain, barish mei chatt tapakti hai uske ghar ki, jo apke liye badi badi buildings banata hain, beti ko chandi ki baliya bhi nahi de paata, jo majdoor sone ki khadaan mei khud ko tapaata hain, har musibat mei woh sadak par aa jaata hai, kya issi din ke liye woh sadke banata hain, chalo iss baar chaar roti banakar sirf do khate hai, aur do kisi bhooke ko de aate hain, woh har baar hamara ghar banaate hain. kyu na iss baar hum milkar unka ghar banaate hain? '

These hard hitting words have been penned by television actor and comedian Paritosh Tripathi and the voice to the video has been given by Rajkummar himself.

These words depict the harsh reality of our society and an urge to the people to stand up and do something for those who give their all to make our life comfortable.

On the work front, Rajkummar's  last film was 'Shimla Mirchi' . He has a number of films in his kitty. He will soon be seen in 'Ludo' which is directed by Anurag Basu, 'Roohi Afzana' directed by Hardik Mehta and 'Chhalaang'  directed by  Hansal Mehta .
