There is a massive increase in veganism all over the world as more and more people are opting towards a plant based lifestyle. As we celebrate World Environment Day today, actress Rakul Preet Singh happily shares her campaign for Peta India where she is happily promoting to be a vegan.

The actress wrote, "This #WorldEnvironmentDay join @PetaIndia and me in saving animals and the planet by eating vegan. " The actress can be seen posing behind a broccoli and urging people to 'Try Vegan' as 'it'll grow on you''. The ad has been shot by ace photographer Shivangi Kulkarni.

Few days back only, the 'Yaariyan' actress took to her instagram and shared her picture wearing a PETA t-shirt and announced her association with PETA India.

She joined the bandwagon alongside many other celebrities like Anushka Sharma, Richa Chadda, Shahid Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan and Sonam Kapoor who have already teamed up with PETA India.

Meanwhile, on the workfront, Rakul was last seen in the film 'Shimla Mirchi'. Post this, she has a list of films in her kitty. She will next appear in the film 'Attack' which is an action thriller film starring John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles alongside her.

She is also a part of a comedy film titled 'Thank God' starring Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra. She will also be starring in the sequel to Kamal Hassan's hit film 'Indian'.
