He died on 25th May, 2005 and on his 15th death anniversary his daughter Priya Dutt and actress Pooja Bhatt remembered him and paid their homage to him.
Priya Dutt who stepped into her father's shoes and became a politcian took to her twitter account and shared a photo of hers with her father. She wrote, " In memory of my father, who left us 15 years ago on this day. His memories will always remain in the hearts of so many he touched. At a time when the country faces so much pain and suffering his presence is missed even more. Miss him so much. "
Actress Pooja Bhatt also remembered the legend with a throwback photo from the sets of the classic film 'Naam'. She wrote, "In memory of Sunil Dutt Saab who fathered all in every which way #memorybank #onlocation #Naam #classicfilms #classicmen #solidgold"
Sunil Dutt was a successful actor who also had a successful political career too. He joined the Congress Party in 1984 and remained a Member of Parliament for five terms, until his death in 2005.
