For a while now, we have been hearing multiple rumors regarding the release date of RRR. It was said that the film might be postponed due to the delay in shoot pertaining to Coronavirus outbreak.
However, Rajamouli has confirmed that RRR is well on course to hit the silver screens on January 8th if shootings are permitted from next month.
"We are on track for January 8th release. We will be able to lock the release date if shootings are permitted from next month. Our top priority is to get the film readied for Sankranthi release," he said.
That said, RRR might be postponed indefenitely if the shooting is not resumed next month or anytime soon.
