Keerthy Suresh's 'Penguin' has been in the making for a long long time now. The film struggled to hit the silver screens for unknown reasons. Directed by Eshwar Karthik, the film is all set for a direct digital release, say latest reports.
Apparently, the makers are hoping to cash in on the digital platforms by selling the streaming rights for favorable amount.
Karthik Subbaraj, the director of Rajinikanth's Petta, and horror thriller, Pizza, bankrolled the film. More details regarding the digital release will be out soon. In all likelihood, the film will be out on Amazon Prime next month.
Also, rumors are rife that Anushka's 'Nishabdham' is aiming for a direct digital release.
