Bollywood veteran actor Anupam Kher took to his twitter handle and wished former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh for a speedy recovery. The senior Congress leader was taken to the cardiothoracic ward of the hospital after complaining of chest pain. In the tweet, the actor expressed his devotions and said that Manmohan Singh gets well soon and returns home healthy.

Manmohan Singh was admitted to Delhi's All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Sunday evening around 8.45 pm after he complained of uneasiness. In 2009, he underwent successful coronary bypass surgery at the AIIMS. He is under the attention of Dr. Nitish Naik, a professor of cardiology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Singh, a senior leader of the opposition Congress, is currently a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan. He was the prime minister between 2004 and 2014.
In the year 2019, the film has also been made on Prime Minister’s life ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’. Anupam Kher in the film played the role of Manmohan Singh.
The film was Helmed by debutant Vijay Ratnakar Gutte, and is the adaptation of Sanjaya Baru’s memoir of the same name. The movie chronicles the political life of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.
