Srinagar, April 19 (SocialNews.XYZ) All the restrictions would continue across Srinagar till May 3, said District Magistrate Shahid Choudhary, here on Sunday.
The extension in existing restrictions and reasons therefore were noted in the order issued on April 16, which was in line with the April 15 revised central government lockdown guidelines that excluded areas notified as Covid-19 containment zones from exemptions it would allow after April 20, he said.
He said that movement would be allowed on production of passes issued by his office to essential services departments and officials. Healthcare officers and frontline workers associated with Covid-19 containment efforts had been provided passes. Their movement, as and when required, would be allowed on production of valid IDs along with duty slips, issued to them by their HoDs, he said.
Violations of instructions would attract strict action under Section 188 of IPC and Section 51 of NDMA, he said.
