Gurugram, April 15 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Gurugram police on Wednesday booked a person for allegedly tearing up a 'home quarantine' sticker pasted by the authorities at his house.
Subhash Bokan, PRO of Gurugram police, said the accused, Vinit, a resident of New Colony area, had along with his 72-year-ol mother recently visited Artemis hospital for her treatment. The institute already had a suspected corona patient, said Bokan.
"When officials of the health department learnt about it, they recommended home-quarantine for Vinit and his mother from April 14 to April 21. The officials also put up stickers on his house to declare it a quarantine house," said Bokan.
"We were later informed that the quarantine sticker was torn up on Tuesday evening. An FIR was registered after the police questioned Vinit's family members. The accused and his family, however, have denied that they had any role in tearing up the message," he said.
"We are scanning the CCTV footage of the area to ascertain facts," Bokan said.
