New Delhi, April 13 (SocialNews.XYZ) After a person was found COVID-19 positive in Kali Bari Marg of Lutyen's Delhi, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) carried out a disinfection and sanitisation drive in and around the area.
The drive was continued in the adjoining lanes, sub-lanes, residential complexes, parks and markets areas, NDMC said on Monday.
"A person resident of H- Block Type- I CPWD Colony Kali Bari Marg was found COVID-19 positive, thereafter the whole area of H-Block and around the block like Sabzi Mandi , Kali Bari Marg was sanitized with bleaching powder dissolved in water," NDMC said in a statement.
A team of health and horticulture department led by Dr Vijay Patel, Senior Medical Officer of NDMC carried out the sanitization drive in which one water tanker and four sprayer machines were used.
Apart from that, the daily sanitation and door to door garbage collection activities by NDMC remained undisturbed, the civic body said.
