Karnataka unveils website for COVID-19 news

Bengaluru, April 9 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Karnataka government has unveiled a dedicated Covid website to disseminate authentic information, Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa said on Thursday.

"Please visit covid19.karnataka.gov.in for official information on Covid, helpline numbers, fake news busted, circulars and real-time dashboard," tweeted Yediyurappa.

Run by the state's Department of Information and Public Relations, the website has multiple details, photographs, videos, messages from the chief minister and others.

It asked interested people to apply for volunteering in Covid relief works and also solicited donations.

Aiming to inform the masses correctly, the website has a section called Fact or Fiction: How much you know about Covid?

Similarly, it also provided links to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Central government and the state government.
