Television Mogul Ekta Kapoor and Tusshar Kapoor took to their respective social media profiles and wishes their dad, Jeetendra Ravi Kapoor a very happy birthday.
Ekta Kapoor shared a small candid video, a compilation of family pictures. She captioned it, “Happy birthday papa! You are the most positive person I know. May you stay happy and have a long joyous life. You are a role model for all of us. Love you!”
Actor Tusshar Kapoor also shared a video and wrote, “Happy birthday papa! Thank you in his behalf for all the wishes from his fans, well wishers and the Bollywood handles!”
Tusshar shared a video on Instagram to wish his dad a happy birthday. The montage, titled Portraits Of...Over The Years, features some of the best moments of Jeetendra's life over the years. The clip has glimpses of his family including his son Tusshar, his daughter Ekta, his wife Shobha Kapoor and grandson Laksshya.
Also known as Jumping Jack, Jeetendra's actual name is Ravi Kapoor, and he is most famous for his dance moves. Jeetendra made his Bollywood debut in Navrang (1959) but films like Geet Gaya Pattharon Ne and Farz got him recognition in the Hindi film industry as an actor.
Jeetendra is mostly remembered for songs like Naino Mein Sapna, Dhal Gaya Din, Taki O Taki, Chadhti Jawaani and many others. Jeetendra was last seen in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Om Shanti Om in the songs Dhoom Tana and Deewangi Deewangi.
