Ranchi: Visually impaired men return to their shelter during lockdown #Gallery

Ranchi: Visually impaired men head back to their shelter after purchasing a water storage container on Day 5 of the 21-day countrywide lockdown imposed to contain the spread of novel coronavirus, in Ranchi on March 29, 2020. In order to contain the spead of COVID-19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced a 21 day nationwide lockdown imposed in 560 districts in 32 states and union territories across the country that came into effect on the intervening night of March 24 and 25. As per the latest statistcs from the World Health Organsation, there are 575,444 cofirmed cases of Coronavirus across 202 nations with 26,654 deaths. Cases across India surged to 974 with 109 new cases. The death toll in the country touched 27 with 5 more deaths on Saturday. (Photo: IANS)
