In a recent interaction with Bollywood film journalist, Rajamouli spoke at length about RRR's plot and its theme.
Rajamouli said RRR depicts the coming together of legendary freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju, who never met in real life.
Rajamouli adds that the film is set in 1920s backdrop and both Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem characters will jointly raise war against the Britishers.
RRR has locked January 8th as its release date and the makers are making full use of the lengthy layoff, owing to the Coronavirus outbreak.
